Its crazy how even in the loss, it really seems like the Flyers won the game. Very excited to see of they can keep up this momentum, and if they can that would certainly make things interesting in what was originally written off as a lost season.
As for the late start to the Vegas game, I work overnight, so ill actually be able to watch a game for once, because im usually asleep when the games are usually played. So thatll be nice to see. But I also understand how much that sucks for you guys who have to be up early trying to cover that game.
I have no problem with that game. On the road, a long flight, depleted roster, getting behind early. Teams of prior years would have folded into a 7-1 shellacing. Get them credit for taking a tough opponent to the max. And 3 shorties, never saw that before. I will take the point. To me, it looked like Tippett wasn't engaged much in this game. Any update on why Frost got scratched for a third game ?
I have absolutely no problem with seeler stepping in to fight after the hit on TK, this is how a team should be I don’t care if it costs us the game. It shows they care and have some heart, especially because TK is arguably our best player. (Also I find it disgusting that seeler ends up with 17 minutes after the fight. It’s not like seeler jumped him, they both talked it out and agreed to drop the gloves. I have no idea how they give seeler a game misconduct after that.)
The Vegas start time is at the tail end of my work shift. But….i was able to get the night off to check it out on ESPN.
Briere said he wants this team to make it difficult for the opposition to win. I think they certainly made it difficult for the Stars.
