It really looks like they aren’t even trying. It looks like their focus is on team building and having fun with the game, and they’re killing it as a result. I’m so happy to see the Winged Wheel care about the game again.

The amount of time they spend in the offensive zone, and the amount of pressure they put on a defense is so refreshing to see. They look dominant out there.
I loved how both commentators, who had already experienced a lot of Red Wing's history, were sometimes amazed and sometimes simply couldn't believe what they were seeing!

I also really enjoy seeing goals like Walman's, power & precision packed into a beauty of a slapshot, wonderful!
In my opinion, there shouldn't have been a penalty against Seider, the Calgary player tripped over Reimer's foot and for Seider it was nowhere to go.
The only thing missing today was a PPG, but that would have been more for the stats fans.

Passing has been quick and sharp, esp on the PP, and hustle has been exemplary. Everyone buying into Newsie's system and playing 200'. Best hockey I've seen them play in a decade.

The offense definitely overshadowed the defense, but we can't overlook the fact that the Wings successfully killed off a 5-on-3 that lasted almost a full minute.

I was at this game and it was the first time I'd been at a Wings game and we won. Great weekend for Detroit sports, at least from my perspective. Wings won back to back, DCFC upset Pittsburgh in the playoffs and Michigan shutout MSU.

it's amazing how having a few wingers that can drive play has allowed everyone else to find their roles on this team. Raymond is playing the best version of his game right now, so many good plays on defense and passes and doesn't have to be the finisher. Copp is looking more like what was advertised when we got him, love watching healthy Ras play anywhere in the lineup.
right now we are really getting the best version of most of our players because they're playing within their game. hope injuries don't screw up this chemistry over the season.
