How many loses until a new coach is in the discussion?

This is going to sound so lame, but I’m genuinely in a good mood just because Ovi scored. I had zero hope that they’d beat this Toronto team, so an Ovi goal is all I wanted from this game

We’re just a bad to mediocre team at this point. I’d still like if we switched the defense around. Thought they played alright outside of the second.

Good game y’all. I’m glad Ovi got his goal.

TVR and Jensen could both benefit from watching a game. They’ve both struggled all season.

It’s difficult for Washington to win without getting some point production from Backstrom, Kuznetsov, Wilson, Oshie, Carlson…that’s a lot of money not scoring goals.

Kuemper had another strong game. The disaster in front of him isn’t his fault. Ovechkin obviously had his best game of the season and hopefully he saved some for tomorrow night.

Honestly remember when GMBM said during the off-season when his goal was to sign a top 6 forward and signed Pacherotty who wont be ready until December? That still irks me.

Although we’re only 5 games into the season, it seems like we’re in for a rough ride.

This is somehow still Blaine’s fault. Not sure how but it is

It’s just not even fun to watch anymore.

You know what? Ovi goal made it better

Caps didnt play poorly, but DK left a lot to be desired in net.

This is the price we must pay for ~ 15 years of success. Honestly, hoping ticket prices go down bc we ass but realistically they will stay up bc of the Gretzky chase.

That said, if we all have the chance to hit a few games before Ovi and everyone either leaves or dies on the ice, we all absolutely should go. Ovi revitalized hockey in DC, and going to games to watch him rumble down the ice in person is a privilege that we will never get again.

Downvote all you want, I’d rather see Ovie get traded and see them start a 2004 style rebuild now. Going through however long it takes for Ovie to break this record or die trying is gonna kill the fanbase
