Hey OhNyquist love the vids! was late to your ask me anything video but I would really love to hear your opinion on this? Can Tage Thompson get back to a point per game pace after his slow start or was last season a career year? Would love to hear your thoughts!
i think samsonov will figure it out, he isnt the greatest positional goalie, but he is super athletic and make a ton of unexpected saves. he was a first round pick so he has talent. I hope he does figure it out and keep the spot cause hes such a funny and nice guy. if woll does get the role tho, hey good for him, hes young and working hard for it.

So Im a leafs fan and therefore happy we won but DAMN IT OF COURSE OVI'S FIRST GOAL COMES AGAINST THE LEAFS! Also while I do think Woll has won the net for now from Sammy im TERRIFIED its a Campbell and Anderson situation as when Jack Campbell was a young goalie for us he went on a hot streak as a backup won the net then when he became the official starter was very shaky. I really hope this isnt the same as leafs goalies have arguably been the most unstable part of their team in the Matthews era and I would love for a leafs drafted and developed goalie to FINALLY WORK OUT.

I think Sammy Will improve, but Woll has been the better goalie so far and so they should try to play him more unless he falls off
Glad they're playing Woll. He's their goaltender of the future, and a lot cheaper than Sammy.
You got to make a video about the reffing in the Wings game. They should be 6-1 right now, not 5-1-1.

Thank you for finally mentioning this. This is the only stat that you should have said… Since Feb 12 2023, the caps have won 5 games in regulation that's roughly 31 games. The system that carberry is building is great but they need youth. A top line of 30 years olds can't do it.
Oh another thing. Boston has allowed 7 goals this year in 6 games. The caps have 7 goals scored in 5 games.
Caps have been painful to watch every single game this season. They’re overpaying a handful of our veterans. 9M for backstrom, and he signed that when he was recovering from that career ending hip surgery. It’s a miracle he can play at all. So yes let’s pay him Nylander level money. Tom Wilson hasn’t done shit this year. 7M a year to do fuck all. This team needs to be reset. Only keep Ovi and oshie. Dump every other player 26 and over. Trade them for picks or slightly worse players with more years left to play.

caps dont stink, unreal run of the worst luck, outside first game vs pitt caps have been snakebit both offensively and defensively, look slow is a narraentive for the uninformed and lazy, i have seen several breakaways by these old guys, defense is young ,right now if we make a mistake its in the net, this coud happen in january to vegas. how can you look at this game and say caps stink? im not looking for silver lining, caps will turn around in this fast pace system they are implementing. what if pacheretti pans out? as a caps fan trade samsonov now, high maintenance,inconsistant. leafs have a keeper with woll. review this vedio in a month.
