Hi John.) Yes, but it was Easy to Predict this. Average at best goaltending with Shet ability for D to keep the puck out of the net doesn't add up to success. Then take out the best player on Earth, and you don't have to be Nostradamus. "Cup fav" lol. Never trust an expert.
Even with him, they would’ve lost this game. Their defense was all over the freaking place and Campbell wasn’t up to par.
They have some deep structural issues they’re gonna have to work out and get through or this is gonna end up being a lost season.
You can’t win the cup early in the season… But you can damn well lose it
I’m a jets fan but over the years the oilers have shown they can get hot and go on a heater. I never count them out.

Evan Bouchard has by far the worst defence from any defensemen I’ve seen in the last 10 years.
Bouchard reminds me of erhoff member players use to throw pucks toward him and watch him fumble the puck back to the other team or just puck watches bouchard does the same he is lethal in the offensive zone but in his own zone cant find a beach ball horrible cup or bust i guess thooooo and the coaching needs a look they have no structure reminds me of a canucks team from last year i think coaching need to be looked at hes slowly loosing the room you got kane wanting to rather be in the box than on the ice holloway needs to play with mcdavid that speed would benifit both of them but shiiii hope the oilers get thru this its brutal
McDavid is only out a couple weeks quit whining.

Maybe Oilers call Anaheim to see what they want for Gibson. Campbell was "okay", but does not seem to make the timely save when they need it. D core is brutal, especially Bouchard and Ceci. Nurse was not much better. Maybe Campbell, Bromberg, and a top prospect or Foegele head for California

I watch a lot of oilers games but haven’t been able to this year, but I’m seeing a lot of ppl saying Bouchard is terrible or something, whenever I watched briefly he would have points on the board, and fantasy wise he’s my best defensemen rn lol

Hockey is a TEAM sport. Everyone jumps up and down, giddy with excitement, over the Oilers. They have 2-3 great/good players. Unless McDavid and Draisaitl can play 50 minutes a game, they will NOT win a cup. Why is this so hard for people to understand?

i honestly didn’t think they’d have 2 good periods, but that 3rd was the worst thing i’ve seen from them since 2017 round 2 against the ducks. that was fucking laughable. the defenders are no where to be seen

Oilers have by far the worst defense in the league. Goalies are pretty good and they have top 3 forward groups in the NHL. BUT the D is absolutely terrible. i hate Edmonton so I'm happy. Stanley Cup or bust. laugh out loud

Ken Holland Needs to be Fired Next Month I have 0 confidence that they win next 3 games & nothing feels right if no changes or moves are made by a GM that's to lazy to watch our team struggle this month. I don't see this team turning around their season & right now KH is the target we should be focusing on if he can't make any statements to the fanbase like face it he's running out of lives very sooner rather then later cause ain't EZ being a GM pissing off the fans or becoming favs to WIN NOW is just preposterous, So come on folks it's time Ken Holland wakes up or he slakes off like a sloth then realizing his Job is on Hot seat. #FireKenHolland
