Not even last night particularly as it would’ve been a bad time to potentially take a roughing penalty. Like Lindy said, they’ve been a soft team to play against and it’s not just the lack of stepping up when one of our stars get rocked/take a cheap shot.
Part of them getting back on track is bringing back that combo of discipline, compete and swagger from games 3 on against the Rags. We all know they’ve got it in em, they just need to unleash it again…..and sooner rather than later.
Jake DeBrusk and the rest of the Bruins didn’t like that cross-check on Poitras: pic.twitter.com/kAhXkKe1jD

They need someone on the 4th line to start handing out punishment for hits like that
Smith is the one so far but that is the area that they neglected in the off season.
Hischer is getting hammered again this season.
It feels like Bahl should be more aggressive than he is.
I mean this is a clear penalty and certainly something you go after for if they do this on your star. The hit on jack late in last nights game was clean and a normal follow through. I think he would recognize that too. It’s a play he normally skates right by the guy, but he was trying to do too much. Same for the one on Luke in the third.
I just mean to say I don’t think Jack or Luke would want the team to change the plan/roster for them taking those hits. I don’t think it helps us win either.
Geersten?
So many fans complained about Subban when he was the main guy that would stand up for Jack
One of the reasons I miss Miles Wood.
