Kasperi Kapanen scored the game-winning goal and Joel Hofer earned the first shutout of his NHL career with 26 saves to lead the St. Louis Blues to a 3-0 win over the Calgary Flames.

    Can't wait for 2025 when we have 35 year old Kadri sitting in the pressbox (or LTIR) making $7M and 32 year old Huberdeau making $10.5M fronting the 3rd line on his way to a 40 point season. All the while knowing we have 3-4 more years of them eating 20-25% of the cap.

    The next 5-6 years should be horrible.

    At least we have most of our draft picks aside from stupidly giving a 1st to MTL to get rid of Monahan (who would be our best player right about now!).

    This team is a joke and the season is over. Good luck seeing a competitive team until a decade later minimum.

    As a blues fan I gotta give props to Markstrom. He stood on his head and made some crazy saves. That game easily coulda been 5 to 6 nothing if not for him

    Both Alberta teams are playing so badly right now that the Heritage Classic this weekend may be the first NHL game to end in a tie since the OT rule was reintroduced back in the 80s.

    I feel sorry for Markstrom. Hell of a goalie and a great guy. Sutter must be sitting on his ranch laughing his ass off.

    Flames need to dump now and rebuild. Which is what they should have done when they had to get ride of Matt and Johmny. With out Sutter, this team shows no effort. At least Sutter got something. No excuse flames. If you suck this season it proves the ones that complained about Sutter, are a bunch of cry baby bitches.
