  1. Canucks fan here: the sadistic part of me cannot help but look forward to their game Sunday.

  2. We Leafs fans were so hopeful that Nazem Kadri would become as dynamic an offensive player as a pro as he was in junior. Well, the hope sailed and he was eventually sent to Colorado, where he did have that great contract-year season, so some sucker team was going to overpay for his services. When it was Calgary that signed Naz, I felt so bad for Flames fans, because Kadri is NOT a first line player and he was going to disappoint the fans, mightily. It really sucks that the Flames also have the diminished Jonathan Huberdeau, although no one saw Hubie's drop in production coming; I certainly didn't. If Johnny Hockey had stayed, I think the team's situation would be similar and Johnny's production would have dropped in Calgary just as it has in Columbus. And if Darryl Sutter had stayed…

  3. The NHL is scratching their heads figuring how can they gets eyes to watch this overhyped game. With no Connor and some of the worst hockey being played by both clubs in recent memory, people will likely find something else to do with their Saturday night.

  4. The weirdest part is the weakest link of the team last year (markstrom) is now the only one keeping the Flames from getting annihilated every game

  5. As a yank, I would walk barefoot over a floor covered in Legos to live in an area of Canada rooting for a losing team than live down here where barely anyone knows about a winning team. Go Flames. Go Oilers.

  6. Detroit fans are grateful for not having Ken Holland as GM anymore. Edmonton sure could use a Yzerplan.

  7. The new battle of Alberta: Who is the worst team in the province?

Fans on boths sides are so pissed they are literally cheering the other team…
