The Carolina Hurricanes earned a 3-2 OT win over the Seattle Kraken after Martin Necas scored with 10 seconds left in OT. Necas scored twice and added an assist. Tim Donnelly points out the win over Seattle could be the spring board for the Hurricanes to get back to the style of play that was so effective in 2022-2023.

Canes will slowly figure it out but need to take care of business over the next week or so and get the defense back on track. KK, Skjei, Slavin, Jarvis and Necas have been carrying the team in the meantime.
Felt like this was the first game where Canes played a full 60 minutes their style of game. Couple mistakes led to the two goals but overall was the most complete game they had played so far
