How are they a favourite to repeat? It was a random win last year and highly unlikely to happen again. Even if they improve over last year and finish as one of the top three teams in the league, it doesnโt improve their odds of winning the cup. The best teams often lose in the first round. There is statistically no correlation between how good a team is and their chances of winning in the playoffs in hockey.
I think Bedard looks fine, Chicago is giving him all the chances to be successful. They should not be frustrated, this is going to be a very hard year. They have the right veterans guiding the way for him and by the time heโs 20 as long as he develops and slaps some more muscle on he should be the next C
The Media is sickening talking up Bedard,anyone see him hiding behind Brad M in the Boston game, a total disgrace not a push or a shove nothing scared little boy,leave him alone and let him grow up.
I don't really follow any teams very closely, but I do root for individual players. I'm hoping Bedard does well, he seems like a good egg and the expectations put on him must be insane to deal with.

His goal wasn't even that significant in the overall game, slaying went to the OT goal here.

Crazy how all 3 remaining teams that were undefeated all lost before San jose won.
