  1. hey at least we’ll always have that jv goal. pretty disgusting effort. scared to hold on to the puck and make plays. better wake up the islanders look legit.

  2. AnthonyPantha

Wings should be fucking embarassed. Completely dead powerplay, extremely few transitions through the middle that generated meaningful offense, and took zero advantage of faceoff wins.

  3. xenonwarrior666

If this game was a test the Red Wings showed up to school naked.

  4. GenericUsername_71

Someone on this team has to start giving a shit. Two bad losses in a row. The team looked anemic for about 55 minutes.

  5. Falling back to Earth after that hot start is a real downer.

  6. It’s just shy of 2am, I’m gonna go brush my teeth and crawl into bed, try not to cry and probably cry anyway see you guys for the next one

  7. Oceana123

We need to get the stupid penalties under control. We are deflating as a team so fast into the game or throw wins because of stupid penalties. Get it under control…

We’d be alright if we could play for 60 minutes instead of 10-15. Also not spending every first period on the PK. Boston’s PK was on drugs tho that wasn’t fair. My tip: call up Ed, waive Petry.

Can we go back to having a team that’s fun to watch even if they lose? I don’t fucking care how good the Bruins are we played like shit even when they were no where near us. Is the whole team sick? Did Cat give them whatever was keeping him under the weather? Do they all suffer simultaneous brain injuries and forget how to fucking play hockey?

Outside of a 5-minute stretch in the 3rd, that was a vintage 2022-2023 Red Wing game. Painfully dull, generate nothing, but kept the game close.

RIP Larkin point streak – was fun while
    It lasted

Perron is terrific on the puck, but I think Raymond wins board battles often enough to justify him replacing Perron on the top PP line. He’s ready.
I wonder if it’s time to split up Compher and Copp.

Man, I was worried this shit was going to happen, and that it was just a fluke that we played that well at first. Where is the same spark and energy we had the first handful of games? Ugh.

  14. SevenStringGod

I’m just going to come out and say it: I haven’t been impressed with Perron at all this season. I know there are other issues that need to be worked out, but there was a specific role he filled well last year that he just hasn’t this year. We’d be better served with Berggren offering a little more offensive potential in Perron’s spot, but that won’t happen until Perron gets injured or dealt at the deadline.

  15. MajorasShoe

Ras and Perron should each get scratched a game over the next 2. We need a callup. We can’t be coming out of a rebuild with no rookies and no sophomore players, and these guys need to see they’re not secure in their position.

The effort tonight was brutal. And there’s no reason for these guys to get comfortable.

JFV giving the post-loss interview. Larkin does the interview 9/10 times after a loss.

  17. TheNation55

It should be a gigantic red flag that this team STILL isn’t ready to run at puck drop for these damn games.
