I wanted to add, if anyone sees this, Hronek is for real. So many heady plays, can move the puck as well as defend. Did amazing in the times he was away from Hughes.

We win this game if it wasn’t on the second of a back to back.

We win this game if we had our starter.

We win this game if it wasn’t 3on3 OT where a call was missed.

You know where none of the above conditions are relevant? The playoffs.

We win this kind of game 99 times out of 100.

Once you make a weak 2 many men call. when a team is already on the powerplay. There is no limits. No code. No let them play in ot.

You call a trip. Especially when it gives the other team a blatant advantage.

I am watching the ref assignments rest of season.

McIsaac and Markovic and letting them absolutely have it next game they ref in Vancouver.

I know there is people wanting challenges on penalties and stuff, but why instead can’t the refs have the capacity to just whistle play dead on close calls they are divided on?

Like tonight, instead of SOMEHOW FOUR officials deciding telepathically to not call that, they had the option to blow the play dead and cause faceoff???

Thus putting the game back into the random chance??

This is a better solution i think

    Who pays the refs more

    A: Barcelona
    B: New York Rangers

Win some lose some. I’m happy we fought back and got the extra point, we deserved something out of that game. Still a little scrambly at times, but over all a good effort on both sides of the ice. Gave up nothing 5v5, 2 goals on 5v3 and another shorty. Confidence is looking solid out there, one of the biggest differences in their game this year

  7. James_Manuel

You love to see petey yelling in that refs face like that. Some passion.

  8. VancityRenaults

3 out of 4 points in back to back games against 2 tough teams. Incredible effort tonight.

This is definitely a legit team dammit.

  9. Strict-Cicada6225

shity missed call but we should have won in OT. 1 point is still great on a b2b and we played with heart the whole game. I’m not mad

Love Hronek, we were in the second row and right after the goal in OT he didn’t stop screaming in the refs face for like 5 minutes.

  11. xStickyBudz

Refs sold, but this team is fun as hell to watch and looks legit.

3 out of 4 in a Back to back. I’m not even mad

I hope the rangers never win the cup because 1. Fuck messier 2. Fuck fox 3. Fuck Bettmans rigged ass draft

    Hierarchy of teams I hate.

    1. Oilers

    2. Devils

    3. Rangers

Anyone wanna take a guess at a common theme between these 3 teams?

  14. ebb_omega

Tocchet sounds like HE wants a Vancouver – Jersey SCF

  15. -GregTheGreat-

At the end of the day, we took a contender to OT in day 2 of a back-to-back with our backup in net and theirs playing on his head. Can be happy with that, it was a super gutsy game

  16. Megavore97

Okay honestly in spite of the calls tonight I’m actually very happy w/ tonight’s performance. B2B games is never easy and losing in overtime despite outshooting the Rangers is still 1 point at least.

  17. shadownet97

We played extremely well despite the amount of dumb penalties we’ve taken (deserved and undeserved) but wow, the officiating was hot garbage tonight.

  18. Hyperocean

The Canucks and maybe Vegas are the only team in the Pacific getting a point out of that kinda game .. not bad at all, those Rangers are dangerous, just like the Canucks ..

  19. itspronouncedcady

Tocchet is a step counting fiend clearly

  20. vancouver000

ron mclean is lucky his contract keeps getting renewed. dude is useless and should have been out of a job the minute strombo took over his role. its been like a decade plus since then and somehow he still has a job, while contributing nothing but weird, meandering monologues.

  21. canadianbigmuscles

Great game to watch. Lots of back and forth.

  22. unbannedcoug

Just watched the highlights Sad way to lose but these are the type of losses that hopefully galvanizes the group and helps them iron out details Holy shit at Myers SHG tho

  23. okokokoyeahright

I watched 3 ‘Nucks games this week and enjoyed the hell out of them. Who ARE these guys? They play hard, they make good choices and decisions. 2 good goalies. Rick Tocchet? Is he the difference? wow. just. wow.

Too bad about the ending of this one tonight. GG guys. Will watch more.

  24. PlumAntique4569

tough loss, but a great game by the boys. Can’t be upset with being 5th in the league at this point.

  25. That After Hours was kind of funny

“Here’s a trip down memory lane for you Louie and Rick”

*Cuts to a video of Tocchet beating the crap out of DeBrusk in a game 30 years ago*

  26. DisplacedNovaScotian

I’m liking Tocchet more and more as our coach.

  27. missingtheleftcoast

I am at work, but listened to the game. Was the officiating as bad as it sounded?

  28. NotoriousBananaHavoc
