[Serious] Former Phantom Adam Johnson suffered a severe throat injury in the EIHL tonight and I just wanted to honor him in some way here, see if anyone has any stories.

Unfortunately, it’s been confirmed that he has died. He was 29 years old. ~~Nothing has been confirmed yet but things don’t look good.~~ For those not in the know, Johnson had his throat cut accidentally by a skate during play.

The hockey community is a pretty tight and universal one. Not too many things can bring people together from all different backgrounds like hockey can. I just feel like a tragedy like this can’t go unacknowledged but I don’t know the right way too. Just kind of throwing it in the wild and hoping something sticks.

Massive thoughts out to his family and loved ones. Just absolutely brutal.
