Wonder if there's a sickness bug in the camp, DeBrincat was a game day decision for Seattle and the team has been sluggish the last couple of games.
I think its just other teams figured out are M.O and are adjusting accordingly, we dont got alot of skill shots, so we really lean on slap shots and fake outs to score, were just to simple on offence and to afraid to get in the oppunits face when they have the puck in are blue zone
The team played very well in the first couple weeks, but I think the team has also recently shown an inability or unwillingness to adjust their approach. Three games in a row now, the boys didn't wake up until the third period. This is a problem, and the team and coaches alike should be ready for teams to get wise to how the boys are playing, and have at least one other approach of attack in mind.
But moreover, I feel like I should also remind folks that Stevie and Newsy both said playoffs aren't the goal this season. If we get there, wonderful. But I got the distinct impression that our goal is playoffs next year. If we make it this year, that's wonderful, but that's also above expectations.
I'd argue at this point, move Joe Veleno to 2nd line, wing or C, if the kids got the 2nd most goals on the team, I say feed the hot hand then, not like anyone else on 2nd line is doing anything

The avs just got shutout back to back. This kind of stuff happens to all teams. Its a long season.
The last two games looked so much like the last five years. That’s what hurts so much. Looks like no progress, like they are playing for a draft pick (again).
