Obviously the biggest question is whether he can still perform at an all star level. Teams want to pay for the player he is, not the player he was. I don't think anyone will offer him more than league minimum until they see if he's worth it.

I think it says a lot that the Rangers are still in the running for signing him and that he might actually take the league minimum? Just my two cents. Kane knows our cap situation.
Let the privileged cry baby sign somewhere else and lead that team in giveaways. We need more physicality, not a soft injury-prone vet
As far as I’m concerned, you should come back to the Rangers on a leak minimal. He forced that trade for us has a purpose of knowing he was injured and derailed the chemistry of the team.
He should sign with Rangers for minimum,he already made lots of money over he's carrier. He wanted to play for them so Drury made some moves to bring him over so he own us favor..😉
I'll give Kane a pass as a Ranger. If he was struggling with hip issues whiles he was with the Rangers, that would explain his poor performance. With that being said, I still don't think the Rangers will sign Kane as they don't have much cap room to begin with. Kane isn't going to accept anything under 4 million dollars which the Rangers just don't have.
Patrick Kane is a winner. Even as a Rangers fan, watching him in Chicago when he lost the eastern conference final you knew that he wanted revenge sure enough they won the cup the following year. He wants to play with Panarin and beat the Devs so give him league minimum. If this guy Wheeler doesn’t pan out we only have him 800k we can get rid of him. A healthy Patrick Kane and more time to create chemistry with the team can only help us.
