Pinto was suspended for being white,not gambling cause Evander Kane went bankrupt from gambling and didn't get suspended is BLACK,why why the difference if not about race
While not a cut to the neck, Salming had one heck of a cut to his face from a blade so the league has known about blades for decades

This is only the 3rd time that I’ve heard of this type of injury.. Malarchuk, Zednik and now Johnson.. I think the problem is.. 3 over 30 years… it’s not a big problem.. yeah, a neck guard sounds good.. but easy for us to say but we don’t have to wear it either..
Andlauer would have knowledge of this during the sale process.
I heard the tragic news about Adam Johnson earlier this morning, sad and unfortunate. Neck protection should be mandated IMHO. So, what is up in Ottawa? I was really optimistic about the Senators before the season, but, things are kinda crazy right now for them..
I completely agree, neck guards should be mandatory. As soon as one of the big named players dawns one, everyone will follow. The faster the game, the more this will happen.

Unfortunately, this is not the first death. There was a high schooler named Teddy Balkind who died in January 2022 from the same kind of accident. I would much rather see neck guards. Could have done with some wrist guards last year, too.
So Pierre Dorion lied to Vegas. So can the Sens finally fire this clown already? Can we finally get a real GM who knows what they are doing finally?
Punishment is a 1st round draft pick for the Senators.
What I think happened was that Pierre Maguire and the Mann brothers knew too much and Pierre shut them up.
Also rumours are Peter Chiarelli will replace Pierre Dorion.
Rumour is Bob Hartley and Claude Julien had connections to Andlauer so they are rumoured as replacements for DJ.
I remember it happen to Richard Zednick too i was watching that game R.I.P Adam

As a Sens fan, i think Dorion and DJ should both go.
DJ: does not seem like the coach that will take the team to the next level, he would be a great coach of a junior team or a minor team developing prospects. But in the NHL, his system is just dump and chase.
Dorion: he has dome some great things, drafting developing and some trades were great, but many other trades were just horrible, free agent signings (other than Giroux) have been a disaster, the dead cap money and mis managing the cap is also another weak point.
Staios and Andlauer will not wait too long…… i hope
