My freshman year in HS we had a varsity that went to playoffs, they asked me and 5 others from JV to give them practice bodies. I was giving the offense the hardest time in practice. I didn’t dress for first game, they won but injury to a player and they dressed me for next game. You never seem to forget glory days…10 solo tackles, 2 sacks, 7 assists, blocked a punt which I then picked up and scored the winning touchdown. I know I’m bragging, sorry!!!
Every single person on that defense is so going to do extreme hard core conditioning every single day for a full week and every single one of them is going to puke at least once a day if their lucky if not their be puking for multiple times for a full week.
Our team got penalized for “aiding the runner” on a play just like that. Never heard of that penalty before or since that game. Think the refs were trying to help the visiting team but we still blew them out.
I mean once he’s lifted off his feet it shoulda been whistle blown. Next time he’ll get thrown to the ground and defense will get a 15 yard penalty 🤷♂️ no win situation there
My team has done this once, but not this bad, and Coach was not having it either. Can’t believe they did that for 15 yards they coaches fun and send them to military school.

The play was dead 15 yards earlier. Poor officiating.
