  1. Old news Timo's fine. Frank Servalli is wrong Timo's a Devil. Timo has always gotten off to slow starts in the past he's fine. A lot of guys are off to slow starts he's fine.

  2. Iā€™m pretty confident 11+9 doesnā€™t equal 12ā€¦. ā€œHeā€™s played in 36 NHL games for the devils and heā€™s put up a total of 12 points, Within those 12 points is 11 goals and 9 assistsā€ā€¦ šŸ¤” that would be 20 points 11+9.

  3. Stop saying somewheres itā€™s somewhere! And ā€¦ā€¦.. wow you are getting a hard on for advanced stats ? Hitting is down , character players down , physical play makes rivals and rivalries not goals . NHL is dangerously getting close to the softness of basketball ( whatā€™s next allowing picks) and the rat plays of soccer . 3 on 3 has nothing to do with hockey or real wins . And last but not least NHL is greedily go after every buck by doing everything but product placement on the ice . And the players are softer harder to tell one from the other but they are greedier to a man!

  4. Don't you think if they could have traded Kubilik it would've been done by now? Simple truth is they will need to significantly sweeten the deal. If you take yoyr sens coloured glasses, you would see this. Simple as that.

  5. Iā€™m sure they tried trading Kubilik, but no one wants him. Frost for Pinto makes sense. The Flyers can retain salary so you can keep Joseph. Frost is similar to Giroux, he just needs new scenery.

  6. I think Laughton and a pick for Pinto and Joseph makes sense for both clubs; let me explain. Laughton is a good cost controlled middle six center (2C/3C) in his prime who can put up 45-50 pts year, be deployed in defensive situations, and play wing if you need. Heā€™s signed for 3 years at $3M/yr; which if the Sens think theyā€™re in the playoff hunt and competitive, his type of center depth and role services makes sense. Heā€™s also got a history with DJ smith, like you said and also with former Flyers captain Claude Giroux. Both Giroux and Laughton grew up in the Flyers system and are well known to each other (and honestly both deserve a cup run)

As good as Pinto might be, when healthy, heā€™s probably a 2C scoring center similar to former Sen Matt Duchene; Joseph, a former 4th rd pick, might be a middle-six energy forward, but heā€™s necessary to make the cap situation work. Pinto would bring bring youth and competition to the Flyers to push young Morgan Frost and Joseph can play left wing, an area of need for the Flyers.

It works in the short run for the Sens, who get a solid veteran player under contract now, who can move around in the line-up and is cost controlled for the next few seasons. Grieg can continue to play and develop at 3C and Laughton can slot in on the wing, where Joseph was, or if an injury happens to center, he can play 2C/3C. And while the Flyers might get the better player in the long-run; thereā€™s the old adage, a bird in hand is worth two in the bush, which I think applies here, since Pinto remains unsigned and ineligible to play.

  7. I'd take Pinto for Frost, but I'm guessing OTT would want the Flyers to take back an additional contract. Not only would they need the space to take Frost, but I'd imagine they also want the flexibility to add at the deadline for the playoff push.

  8. Hope and Pray for Mrs Bowness that she makes a speedy recovery…I don't understand why Gagner is back to the Oilers, they need some goalie to help badly…Great show my friend as usual…Thanks

  9. Im an intermission gal ā€¦I follow players and a heavy stat watcherā€¦.
So having a massive amount of games is a fun night for sureā€¦
I think the time should be adjusted however, central time 9:30 games are killing my sleep šŸ˜‚ā€¦ give the 50 year olds a break and start west coast games hour earlier šŸ’

  10. My opinion on the Devils is that they have too many of the same type of player. Still a great team that's onmy hoing to get better but ya

  11. Meier will be fine. The season just started. There are alot of top players who are off to a slow start. For you to say it is a "major concern" is a bit of a stretch.
