I might be off base here, but if Korchinski was one the PP1 unit, we would be ranked somewhere around 15-20 range PP and not last in the league. Jones canāt hit the net, gets caught too far in the O zone leading to short handed chances, and has no flow on the ice other than passing to Bedard.

Full transparency, I missed last nights game but Jones has looked amazing this year and I could not disagree more. Is he overpaid? Yes. Is he still a reliable 1-2 D-man, 100%
Also keep in mind heās leading an very young, inexperienced D. Jones is NOT the problem.

You know what, he has been fantastic for the past 3 games. Heās taking a backseat on offence and letting Korchinski make the plays. Heās also passing more on the powerplay as well as making less mistakes, and when he does make a mistakes he recovers from it.
So as much shit as we like to talk about him, heās looking like he will be a valuable member of this team in the future.
That said, heās gotta come off the powerplay. We have better options and he really isnāt a smart offensive player.
