OK Guys, I was impressed by Montreal’s performance last night. The Canadiens lost in a shootout VS the Vegas Golden Knights.. But still, there was alot of positives to take away from that game. The Knights were outplayed in my opinion.. Lets dive in and take a look!

And yes, Suzuki is currently the best shootout player to don a MTL Jersey. He was tied with a few other players (Dvorak being one) but the goal that night put him above 50% to 52.94%. That puts him tied 14th all time for shootout % (min 10 attempts), and 5th for active players behind Zegras (64.71%), Panarin (60.53%), Gaudreau (60.00%), and Svechnikov (55.56%).

A great effort and a fun game to watch ! That call on Harris for the first Vegas powerplay goal was pretty soft. Monty looked pretty solid too. Newhook hit more iron than a blacksmith. A little more time and we'll have scoring from all 4 lines.

living on atlantic time so after the first i went to bed thinking its gonna be a one sides tilt for Vegas, Lost in a shootout? yeah sure 1 point is nice, but the fact they were able to stay with them the entire game is huge for the locker room. Go Habs Go!

One of the best games I’ve seen Montreal play over the last 2 seasons. They are really putting their heart and soul into competing in these games. Vegas is a way better team than people give them credit for I mean their depth is insane, D-core is well put together and Adin Hill/Logan Thompson is actually an argument for best tandem in the league. With a little bit of puck luck for Newhook we could have come away on top easy and Monty played great as well
