When you talk best habs players, it's so silly to compare D to forwards. Guhle defensively is our best D. Suzuki and Caufield are among the best Forward players. What makes a championship team are all the players combined. Forget stats and see the glue, 4th liners, tough guys defensive forwards, vets and coaches. super fun to watch! Go Habs GO

Meh. It was a fun game to watch. I wish someone besides Suzuki could score in the shootout. We have good goaltending
Energy was there , 6:22 playing a bit over their heads last night, they jumped on Vegas . Surprised them . Even though Jack Eichel was stumped last night. I love to watch him . He’s a thoroughbred .
Monahan won a ton of face offs ! He’s fine. He has the rare ability to NOT panic when it counts. I think I love Suzuki the most in the team. Cole Caufield can hit the corners, plus he keeps plays going in the O zone and back checks. I miss Ylonen- he has great wheels and great hands. I don’t see deficiencies in his game. Poor Anderson is buying into the MSL system, which is not his game. He’s a power forward and creates. Trade him or turn him loose. Blah blah blah
It’s scary to think just how much young depth we have in our dmen! We still have Hutson, Reinbacher and Mailloux coming !To me we have no decisions ahead with Matheson, Savard, Kovacevic and Harris! Some will have to be Mi Ed to make room !
We are lucky to witness Guhle grow into an elite NHL defenseman, he's exceptional.
The Habs were amazing but let's not over look that Vegas played way below what they are capable of. At least half of the Vegas team were sleep walking through this one – they stunk – 2 shots in the second period ? ? ?.

Two questions that habs GM's always avoid answering are 1) is the player they want to sign actually tradeable on the market at asking price? and 2) Is the player injury prone or does he aim to stay strong (Ray Bourque style). That's how they got stuck with the Prices and the Gallaghers and the Petry's and Weber contracts. Awful awful management because they never ask the right questions.

Im sorry, the Habs are for real. This team has a legit chance to make the playoffs if they stay healthy from here on out. Add Roy or someone who makes the top line better and there are no real holes left for a playoff team.
People are actually cooked thinking we're finishing anywhere near the bottom 5 if we remain relatively healthy
Habs record is an illusion, they are -2 and the worst in their division, teams with -'s don't make it in the end. In a few weeks they will be last and Tb, and To will surpass them, just reality, let's not get too excited. With Slav and Anderson doing nothing, it won't help either, they need better lines but MSL doesn't change anything.
Guhle isn’t an 8 million dollars defenseman, he’s good but not that good.
