What makes me nervous about Comrie, is a repeat of last season. He played pretty well last season and got hurt, then came back and his game fell off. This season, he started off well and got hurt. Now we have to hope we don’t have a repeat decline after he returns.

Has the defensive play caused Tage’s scoring to slump? His whole game may have been coached to be different.
I think the pressure on Thompson this year has gotten to him early. After last year he knows everyone expects him to be a scoring machine, and he’s trying too hard, and getting in his own head. He’s visibly frustrated on the ice. He will get going soon I’m sure. Thoughts?

They played Levi too much early. You just have to rotate both and see what happens. What is one more year not making the playoffs, don’t rush Levi
My thought process is this: last year what were the expectations for this group? None. Just go out with no expectations and have fun. The group was having fun and it showed. This year? A ton of talk about taking the next step, this team can break the drought…I think it's gotten to some of the guys in the room a bit to start. Sticks getting held a little tighter than usual, second guessing on some things. I think with time it will get better but for now it looks like a room with a handful of guys that are feeling the weight of these expectations. They'll mature and figure it out.
