  1. They can't afford to trial and error for much longer. The team took 3 too-many-men penalties. That is undisciplined, not unfamiliarity with the defensive structure.

  2. šŸ‰
Itā€™s not 6 games. They out scored their problems moving the puck as a man to man D core. Indecision is an understatement as a zone D core.

  3. Get those reps in. Agree the team is playing passive. Just because you are using zone defense doesn't mean you don't hustle all the rime.

  4. Playing Man On Man is way easier to play mentally but way harder to play physically. This is why Bouchard struggles to win one on one battles, Ceci is playing great, and Nurse struggles either way.
This is also why the Oilers forwards struggle, Draisatl, McShit and Nuge play to many minutes to play the physically demanding man on man coverage, they are drained.

Tampa plays man-on-man and their stars have many games of 15-17 minutes, the hard work is done DOWN the lineup.

    Hockey 101!

Wait a minute, the Oilers system is Zone D? Lol, fire everybody!
