Was at the game for the first time in years, great rally from the guys in the 3rd after not the most exciting 2nd! It really warmed my heart that the 2nd loudest crowd noise in MSG other than the goals was the sea of boos any time Tony Fuckin Deangelo had the puck. Get off the ice Tony, dick.
So great to see a kid rewarded for a solid camp like Cuylle was and continue to prove his worth. The tougher the game got tonight the better he looked and then he got the GWG. Love the way this kid plays the game.

Checked in on the Canes PGT, they somehow seem to think the refs fucked them over by calling 5 PPs to 2….. meanwhile I feel like the refs could/should have called 10+ on them. How many missed high sticks were there?

biggest excitement i have right now is that were proving we can grind out games playoff style when they stick to the system. we can point watch all we want and look at all the stats and the 5v5 offense and everything all we want, but the BIGGEST reason to be excited is that we have the balls n piss and guts to win however we have to.
surely were gonna have some stretches were we dont have it and things get disjointed/injuries and all that, but when it comes down to it well be able to trust that the team has this capability in them when its time to win 16 games. no excuses if they dont pull that out in may

FUCK THE HURRICANES
On this episode of Rangers Hockey: *Tex’s Rangers,* A game that was so early in the season, had the vibes of a playoff game. And it did. On the night where Sam mentioned having good feelings about the hockey Rangers after the baseball Rangers won the World Series, in which there was a storm surge. But of only high force winds and lots of defensiveness. And away we go
1st: The Rangers got out of the gate really fast. So did the Canes. The Zebras of Sus showed. Non penalties and penalties called. Which special teams for both teams. Christopher James Kreider, who is tied 4th in Rangers Power Play goals. That’s right. TOP FIVE BABY! Chris Kreider,(whispers) It’s a Power Play goal! The Canes then tied the game on their PP. Nice move by Jarvis. Then the Rangers ended up losing two key players for the rest of the game. Fox and Chytil. Adversity.
2nd: The Hurricanes forechecking really showed off. It showed why they are a (trophy must not be named contender). Met the Rangers at the neutral zone. Excellent Pk for the Rangers as well as for the Canes. I truly believe the Rangers missed Fox out there on the PP. The chippyness was in full motion. Laf, damn kid. Getting of the grill of the Canes. But the grind of this period really showed. The Rangers tonight really couldn’t get into the zone this period.
3rd Period: I sat going into this period, the Rangers needed to get a body to the net for a goal in this period. When the Captain, set up an unlikely guy. Will Cuylle. Will Cuylle, he aint hot, he’s cool. Shout out to Wheeler on the goal too. Then, the Canes waves kept coming, coming, and again. Igor just kept saying Nyet. But not to that defensmen who should watch his tone. the 1-3-1 defensive set up worked tonight.
This game was definitely a grind. It might be boring, but tight checking hockey which is more important come playoff time. Yes the penalties that weren’t called. shit happens. But more importantly, the Rangers ability grind this out and have a good 1-3-1 set up at the end of game is key when leading. I know the 4th line has received some shit, but Lav puts them out there late in the game. And if you can have a 4th line that can basically play a shut down game, great. I’d love it. Do I want more pts from them? yeah.
6 Game winning streak. Rangers Win! Is this team dare I say, a wagon right now? Maybe, maybe not. it’s finding ways to win which I love. Continue w/the good play. Hope Fox and Chytil is okay. Focus on that later when more news comes out. Onto the Wild.
