PSA: Reddit App promoting fake McDavid News Articles for advertisments

I guess this is the new normal within the official Reddit app now that third party apps are dying out.

Anyone else receiving these types of ads now? Admittedly it tricked me into clicking it.

I get these ads and job scam ads constantly. I report them and block the user but they still come up unfortunately.

McDavid is such a stand up guy sharing his wealth loopholes with us.

“So me and Leon just go into the banks with these ski masks on and the banks keeps giving us money”

Thank goodness for this PSA. I was about to hand over all my money to them in the hopes of becoming a millionaires in a few months/s

  4. Are you saying that my McCoins are worthless?!?!?

The idea of mcdavid as a ‘brash straight talker’ is somehow the most egregious thing about this. The guy has perfected the art of talking without saying anything

  6. Lmao Connor McDavid is not exactly the first person I turn to for financial advice.

No wonder the team’s been playing bad. Connor’s too busy transforming people’s financial lives

Too bad whoever did this couldn’t be sued to oblivion or jailed. Next it’ll be AI learning voice and doing a video reproduction, that’s already happening to celebrities.

Seen a couple of these around. Previous ones were along the lines of “Elon Musk says Canadians should do this to increase their wealth!” or “Ryan Reynolds shares this new AI strategy to make money from crypto!”

It’s all made up. It’s all scams. Recognize it and report it.

    Your boy has finally arrived.

This type of scam click bait article with Crosby and Matthews have been around for a while in various platforms.
