Other than that game in Columbus, he’s actually been really good. Points haven’t been coming but he’s getting chances and playing really strong without the puck. The need to leave Carlsson on his line though cause those two + Terry have good chemistry
This has been asked, but I’ll ask it too: what exactly did he say that was unexpected? He responded to his benching literally exactly how one would have wanted him to. And he answered the question damn near perfectly.

You can tell Zegras can dangle, but can he be a responsible team player leading his team to win and be better?
If you can’t get the puck in to the offensive zone or work the defense or create scoring chances then that’s a major problem, especially if you’re in the NHL. Terry, McTavish, Vatrano, Carlsson Mintyukov are all so much more visible on the ice working for the team.
