We are only three days into November and things just keep getting worse for the Ottawa Senators.
Brandon Piller and Ross Levitan recap the 3-2 loss to the LA Kings which saw both Ridly Greig and Mark Kastelic leave the game with injuries. To make matters worse, the Sens did not practice today because of players having illness and hoping for it not to spread. Who should the next two players called up from Belleville be? They need a big wake up call so far they have been on cruise control most of the season not really doing much no backcheck no forecheck giving away possession easily not sure how they expect to win rn the only positive is Korpi looks good rn
There are no excuses. BUT… could the Sens stay healthy for once? Chabot, Branny, Zub, Kastellic, Greig. And Pinto out… this is grim. Stars have to step up.
I think they should look at breaking up the top line. Tim needs more speed to play with cause G and Brady are just a little slow.

I don't know if I can watch another season like this… I watched almost every game for years… I'm going through health issues right now and I don't think it's worth the stress at this point.

Have any of you ever seen a head coach with a longer leash than DJ Smith?
If the sens had fired DJ a year or two ago like they should have.. the following coaches were available: Jim Montgomery, Bruce Cassidy, and Rick Tocchet.
Two of those are from the ottawa area.

Usually go to 10-15 games a year. Last night in the box…$40 parking (lot 1), $18 Vizzy's, $200 bottle of Gretzky's whiskey….all for brutal hockey. If they don't even the record tomorrow (or change the coaching staff), gonna waste my money elsewhere.

Well, just like DJ always says – some bad bounces, things didn't go our way tonight.
The kings are the real deal, they made the leafs look like an AHL team beating them in all aspects of the game the other night….so you shouldn't be too hard on yourself losing to this kings team.
Bright side atleast we know Micheal is more pissed off than us.
