Sad when i can't name one okayer on this team
so many players in SJ that either regressed so hard or just don´t show up. Labanc, Duclair, Hoffman… the only one trying was Zetterlund, no wonder he looked so fucking pissed on the bench.
The problem is that every franchise thinks they have “really good” players. San Jose thinks they are building around 3 or 4 of them. But no one outside of San Jose has EVER looked at those players that way. Including Meier who they traded to New Jersey.
Florida is going to give them their first win.
I was at that shellacking last night, and I have never seen hockey played THAT poorly. Especially from players you know are better than what they're showing. (Hertl, Duclair) The amount of turnovers and inability to even keep the puck on their sticks most of the game. Just… yikes. (Also to watch Quinn Hughes get a hat trick of penalties and still roll off four points was particularly excruciating.) Rebuild or not, it's going to feel like forever until they're a good team again.

There is no way they can go 0-82. Eventually they have to play the Leafs. (I'm allowed to make these jokes because I'm a Leafs fan… also it's not 100% a joke.)
Was not expecting Fabian Zetterlund to be the Sharks leading goal scorer. Good for him, bad for the Sharks.
Granlund is not bad C. Problem is that he has a bit troubling contract. But if sharks could retain 50% then he could be very effective 3rd line center who can move up if needed. As a Finn fan i would really like to see Granlund in some successful team where he can really some good work. I'm just sad he was dumbed in to that Shark tank because his contract. If Granlund was in Leaft….that could be interesting.
I noticed when they played us in Tampa they really have no enthusiasm they look dead out there also no defensive depth way to many chances in that game for us.
I think it's also worth mentioning that Erik Karlsson CARRIED this team last season in his historic 101-point Norris Trophy-winning campaign. This dreadful Sharks team should have been what we saw last year, but again, EK65 made the team, at least, look somewhat watchable. What does that tell you about the make of this team? Lol. I think you might be right, though. This could be the worst NHL team in the salary cap era.

I just finished watching Shoresy season 2. I think what the Sharks need to ask themselves is, "do you want to be the worst team in the league..or the worst team ever."
This sharks team is a real contender for the 74-75 caps 😬
OK define worst. to my recollection SJS has made the playoffs in recent time where Buffalo has not also Arizona is in that boat also
I hope we win 10 games. If you watch a sharks game by the third period youre on the floor questioning your existence.

I'd like to think they could be better, but unless they can start scoring, 1 goal/game avg ain't going to win you anything (unless they stockpile a bunch of shutouts against and score 4-5 in one game)
Ask me in a month. Horrendous start but on par with other teams in past years through first 10 or so games. I’m a huge sharks fan and this has been tough to watch. I went to bed after 6th goal last night. I rarely do that.
