McDavid missing one-to-two weeks with upper body injury massive loss for Oilers
The Oilers announced that captain Connor McDavid will miss one-to-two weeks after he suffered an upper-body injury in Edmonton’s overtime loss to the Jets on Saturday. Ryan Rishaug joins SC with Jay Onrait to discuss.
As a big oiler fan if they can’t do anything without a singular player, they will never even come close to touching a cup if that’s what’s underlying with the team.
Oilers in deep deep trouble. I’ve said all along you can’t win a cup with one or two players, I don’t care how good they are. You need 4 solid lines, great defense and goal tending. The Oilers have none of those things.
Again as said before Just tough news. Hopefully he will be back soon and healthy in top form again and dominating like he did last year. He will be back in top form dominating again.
They have a really hard time playing a FULL 60 minute game every single night, without 97 in the lineup I don’t think potential lines are really gonna matter. Woody is the blender King, allowing zero chemistry since day one. Get well soon Captain, I don’t know where this team will be in 2 weeks.

i just want this season to be done with as a Oilers fan. I can’t take anymore losing. It’s bad i lived through the decade of darkness and now this.
