I love Wedgewoods mask. When I was a little girl like 3 I use to kiss the ninja turtles, and Batman and Robin, when the came on the TV. It was back in the 90s when they were all static electric big TVs. My hair would stand and my dad was always pulling me back. My dad likes to remind of that every now and again.

We’re off to a great start this year y’all. I hope that we can keep it rolling. Though I’d like one or two blowouts going our way. Vancouver is firing on all engines right now and it will be a good game tomorrow night.
Elsewhere, last night was the first time of the fall season where it was chilly enough for my cats to snuggle with me in bed. It was a good night.

Has this felt like kind of a weird start to the season to anyone else? I know that our record is pretty immaculate at the moment and I’m very happy with how we’re doing overall, but idk.. it’s hard to articulate or put my finger on it exactly.
First we could only watch 2 out of 7 pre-season games when we’re universally considered to be a cup contender. Then the season begins on a Tuesday and we have to wait til Thursday (fine, it is what it is, I just really wanted to watch some Stars hockey), and then we have 4 fucking days in between games 1 and 2… about as long of a break as you get in this league right off the bat. And then games 2 and 3 start at 9:30 pm and 9:00 pm CST, respectively.
I guess it’s just felt like a slow start, schedule-wise, that has made it a bit tougher for the boys to really get into their groove – obviously the results are there, but still not really seeing a full 60-minute effort. That being said, Duchene has been wonderful, I really like Craig Smith’s game too, Marchment has started strong, and the goaltending has been phenomenal all around. Would love to see Robo really get into his goal scoring bag now.

Hoping we get a win tomorrow. It’s been 4 years since we last beat the Canucks. We didn’t play each other for a couple of those years but I’m hoping our losing streak ends at 6! My friend is a Canucks fan and with the Canucks’ start to the season I have heard too much about the Canucks doing well. It’s time to change that for sure. Go Stars!!!
