Iโm of The opinion that not every forward can you play center, it takes a special mind to be able to see and dissect the game in the centre position
If this kid develops in Rochester for 2 years and comes up getting 10 – 20 goals itโs a win. I wish him well.

I saw a couple of Prokhor's MHL (OHL equivalent) games earlier in the season. He was above the level of the league, particularly with his skating. He kept the puck far too often rather than pass to teammates. Ignoring the KHL stats, he would have only iced a couple of shifts per game. I would have hoped his VHL would have been higher, but he is not helped by moving between the three levels. I was never expecting him to come over until he was 22-23, but now it may be later given current circumstances.
As far as banning Russian players, I am also against, particularly the CHL potentially banning Russian players in their import draft. These are teenagers not world wise adults! However Putin has politicised sport similar to the way the USSR did bac in the day, so banning Russian teams is understandable. The other thing to remember is that these players in the NHL have family back in Russia so they are not going to say anything aout the current situation. You just need to see what Artemi Panerin went through last season to understand why.
Nice to see we have so much young talent. I agree that politics has no place in sports. I just want to enjoy the greatest game on earth and forget about the chaos for a couple hours. We need a break from reality once in a while or we will all go crazy.
Sports can be political in its own way. Who makes the roster. Who's getting traded? Who's signing where. Who's riding the bench. Mutinies against the head coach and such. lol.

Been watching the channel for a while and recently subscribed.
First of all, thanks for being the voice for all Sabre fans as we navigate the dizzying highs and horrifying lows that this team throws our way on a daily basis.
I've been a Sabre fan since 1990 when I followed the trade of my favourite player Dale Hawerchuck from the Jets.
And since I am from the small northern Ontario city of Thunder Bay, I am surrounded by Leafs and Canadian fans – so needless to say, people that pull for the Sabres here are in scarce.

My question for you today however, is what you think the reception for Jack Eichel will be tomorrow night?
Will the organization put together a minimal effort tribute like they did for Reinhart, or snub him like Pomminville?
I hope the Sabre fans stay classy like the Anchorman and not boo him too hard.
I know there are a lot of different angles to how things played out with Jack, but it is what it is and we all need to move forward with the great pieces that we got in return for him.

Have to be honest, his stats are not very impressive. And his size isn't that appealing either. I sure doubt he plays a gritty game too.
