  1. Imagine commenting “fuck this team” when they’re 8-2-1 lmao

  2. huskyferretguy1

Sigh, that was a fun win streak… TIME TO START A NEW ONE!

  3. OIdChunkOfCoaI

I sure hope Mr. Othmann is ready for the NHL because that top line needs some major help and he is the only option we have. He might be up as soon as next month if it continues. Of course, only if he looks ready.

  4. Horror-Dependent-645

What a fucking frustrating hockey game.

  5. Eh, a lot went wrong tonight but considering we had 4 regulars out of the lineup, I’ll take the point on the road and walk away.

  6. BeesVBeads

Waiting on that 40 year old virgin to come in a start dooming and pretending he knows more about goaltending than Benny Allaire.

  7. The-Pigeon-Man

Take the point and go home. Going to need to do a lot better at full games even down guys. What a horrendous 45-50 mins

  8. JuliusDiamond

That shootout was weird AF. And fuck Marc Andre in his stupid horse face.

  9. duckets615

I think they’re a little burnt out from all the crazy traveling the last 3 weeks. Apparently they make the schedule by having chimpanzees pull teams out of a hat.

  10. DangerousStorage1

Pain. Frustrating. Take it and regroup at home

  11. New_Capital3267

Honestly, at this point, fuck Zucc. He ruined Hank night and always plays 150% to beat us. Don’t care for him anymore.

  12. I’ll never not be annoyed after a loss, but it’s really pretty good we were able to pull a point (and nearly 2) from that game.

  13. JayTee245

Meh… we’ll take the point and move on. Still love this team, and were leading the metro with an overtime loss!

  14. ItsHeadbangerG

Well…that was a game. Absolute domination for a period, and then a complete free fall for two. Not an ideal way to win against a team that are the second worst in their division.

Someone in the GDT mentioned that the multiple penalties took the wind out of their sails, and I’m inclined to agree. Discipline has been a rising concern of mine. Can’t be giving these teams the opportunities, even though the PK has been great thus far in the season.

Imma say it. Wild had a lucky night. We’re down like 3 players one of them being our Norris winner, and they won on the goofiest shot in the SO. I’ll take a point. Onto the next one.

    See ya Tuesday.

  15. LSU blew it and so did the rangers tonight. Welp. Not a great night for me.

  16. Vast_Neighborhood_44

    – MN dominated after the 3-0 lead

    – Lucky to get a point out of this one

    – boring as fuck OT

    – regroup/rest before Tuesday

  17. The Wild really were very desperate for a win. They wanted it much more tonight after they woke up.

  18. Class_Act7

I’m disappointed and disgusted, see you all Tuesday

  19. TheRedRum

So, where are the Schneider lovers from last year? Especially the ones that wanted him to replace Miller. What a terrible game by him tonight.

  20. Substantial_Fudge717

Never mad at a loss as long as they give a big effort, and that big effort is the only reason we got a point. Hoping we have a lil more sauce in the tank without foxy and chytil than we showed tonight

  21. TheIncredibleHork

For such an incredible high at about 7 minutes into the game, then we just seemed to fall asleep until the end of the 3rd just long enough that we could tie it up. That shootout was just bad luck with a bad bounce and a lights out Fleury.

    But, considering the following:

    * No Fox, no Chytil, no Goody (say what you will), and no Igor
    * The umpteenth road game of the season
    * 4 unanswered goals against
    * A LOT of time on the penalty kill

There’s no reason to be too disappointed with getting a point out of this one. Last year’s team would have folded and lost it 5-3 in regulation, if not by an even worse margin.

The upsides: despite falling asleep for much of the game the team held it together and overall stepped up to the plate. Vesey got his first of the season (hopefully many more to come) and Panarin is still playing like a man possessed. 11 games with at least a point (including 5 multipoint games). Kreider continuing to score at an almost point per game pace. Still a lot of good to see and more to come. Plus, we have a 3 day break, a 3 game home stand against teams with worse records that us (and a chance to get revenge for tonight).

    79-2-1 is still a possibility.

  22. CisHetSquidward

I was there live, so much fun. The loss was a bummer but seeing Zuccarello beat Johnathan quick in a shootout felt really good imo. Kinda like karmic justice for 2015 Stanley cup.

Also Minnesota is such a passionate crowd. Shame I couldn’t ride their energy when the Wild started coming back in the 2nd

  23. Key-Tip-7521

If I had to describe this game in one word, it’s a split between two of them; 1. Wild and Out of Control, 2nd. A Crazed Classic. But, this game was nothing but defensive break downs. Up 3-0 in the 1st period, (nice goals by Vesey, Bread, and Gus btw), Vesey’s goal got to the dirty area, a North/South Goal. But what really zapped the Rangers hot start was the lack of discipline. Couldn’t stay out of the box. BUT, I appreciate the PK’s performance tonight. However, against better teams(the Wild should be better imo) in the league, you can’t play like that AT AWLLL.

2nd Period was just pure nuts. The Wild controlled not only this period but as well as the 3rd. Coach Creed Bratton for the Wild must have ripped them a new one. And it worked. The Wild puck possession especially the 2min shift, surprised they didn’t score. But what really grinded my gears, was that penalty Mika took. HOW THE FUCK WAS THAT A TRIP ON FATSO MAROON?! WHAT DID HE HIT TO TAKE HIM DOWN?! HIS BIG MAC BURGERS?! Whatever, the zebras weren’t the reason why this team lost. The Rangers needed to keep going and not take their foot off the gas. I did like Kreids goal. Nice response. But at the end of the day, the game ended on a skills competition aka a shootout. Which is whatever. I’m not gonna complain any more.

Slight mini rant, but I did like the way this teamed played w/o Fox, Chytil, Igor, and Goodrow. Would they have made an impact? Yeah. But that’s not an excuse. No excuses

Winning streak is over, but, the team got a point. Deserved or not, they got it. Can’t blow leads like that. But, move on. Off till Tuesday. Onto the Wings.

  24. Fedbackster

Kakko and Laf were invisible. Gallant had better start using them right…oh wait…

  25. JPmoneyman

    A few random thoughts.

We’ve only played 3 home games this season and we’re 8-2-1 that’s pretty damn impressive. Banking road points early in the season is huge.

Tonight was a scheduled loss but the way we lost was brutal, need a good effort on Tuesday so the stink from this game doesn’t linger.

Zac Jones is ass, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt since he’s been watching from the press box all season but he absolutely stunk tonight.

Kreider, Zibanejad Kakko isn’t working, I don’t think it’s time to break them up yet especially since the team is winning and they can afford some more time to try and figure it out but the clock is ticking. If they can’t figure it out soon Laviolette will need to figure somthing else out because you cannot have your supposed top line be this inept offensively.

Laf looks really good, Kakko looks horrible. Why can’t they both just be good at the same time?

Jonathan Quick is not washed like we all thought he was. Good signing by Drury so far.

  26. GalacticMoss

Good lesson for this team to learn early in the season, game ain’t over till it’s over

  27. snoopaloopadoop

I just wanna know why peter laviolette sent out trocheck and why trocheck thought it was a good idea to do the exact same stupid move that zibanejad just did that got stopped

  28. fantobens

People in here whining like bitches. I read some of the things in here and you would think we have the same record as the sharks. Shut the fuck up. They are 8-2-1. They have traveled 8k miles in the last two weeks. Seriously grow the fuck up. We can’t even go into other hockey spaces without being down voted to hell just because of the rangers flair. Because some of you are the dumbest fuckers I’ve ever had to know the thoughts of.

  29. They played as well as they could have in the situation, quick kept us in the game, take the point and move on to the next one!

  30. The team that played better for the full game won. We were out of sorts after some undisciplined play in the first and just never got back on track. Better to learn this lesson early on in the season at least.

  31. EliManningsPetDog

Watched the end with my dad, he was still positive but i’m saying if you have a 3-0 lead and lose it’s a terrible loss. No ifs, ands, or buts; you have to keep a 3-0 lead. At least we get one point. These guys need some rest

  32. Da_Taternater78

Shit way to lose, but we’ve been on a hot streak with so many games on the road. We’ll be fine.
