Red Wings Still Contending After Slow Week, Veleno, Husso, 11-7 Lineup & More | THW Grind Line

In this episode of The Hockey Writers Grind Line, Detroit Red Wings writers Devin Little, Matthew Zator, and new linemate Evan Sabourin get together to talk about the fact that the Red Wings are still second in the Atlantic despite the slow week where they lost all but one game.

Then in another edition of Comment Corner, they answer questions about whether the Red Wings play better in the 11-7 setup and Ville Husso’s status as the starter for the entire season.

  1. The Wings took the wrong guy off the 1st PP unit. Perron needs to be replaced. Then, release Petry and bring in Edvinsson. It's ridiculous that he's not here already.

  2. Once again Wings start strong. Once again other teams adjust. Once again they slip…and play dump and chase.
Put a fork in it, this is not a playoff team.
