Klingberg has been absolutely horrific. Keefe needs to bump him down the lineup. The other 3 have been as expected under Keefe. If Keefe can learn to adapt maybe they can be used more effectively.

Dubas wasn’t a saviour but we downgraded over a power struggle. This isn’t on Treliving at this point it’s on Shanahan

I still think Bertuzzi and Domi can be contributors, albeit ones with some warts. Klingberg and Reaves are pure liabilities on the ice though.

On paper it looked real good to start the season. After 11 games? Not so good. Klingberg being the best of the 4 is not what I was expecting. Domi’s had a few moments, Bert has been terrible, Reeves started the season great with a few fights and monstrous hits but been quiet ever since. Klingberg has been decent. Surprisingly haven’t hated ALL of his game so far but most of it. That goes to show how bad the rest of them are.

If you assume the team will make the playoffs (essentially impossible to miss) then it’s really seeing how this group does in that scenario.
I’d be worried if we were going into the playoffs like this but it’s early with lots of time for the new and old guys to figure each other out.
Until then we carry on 34 hatties.

Not the GMs fault that he signed a bum over the hill enforcer to a ridiculous contract with term ?
Not the GMs fault that he signed a D known for offence and terrible defence that’s declined for 3 straight years in multiple different locales ?
Not the GMs fault that he let known quantities like bunting walk to sign almost the same player for more money in Bertuzzi ?
Tre has to wear this. Keefe should’ve been fired as well but he extended him.

I don’t understand how Bertuzzi hasn’t translated. He is a talented player. He has proven that on two different teams. I hope he finds his rhythm. He would be a real asset come playoff time.
Domi I knew going in was going to live up to the (little) hype he generated. I didn’t expect him to be his father, but I did expect *some* sandpaper to his game. I knew his was a liability defensively, but there was supposed to be some sort of tradeoff for the offense he brought.
Reeves. He flaps his lips more than he backs it up. I think he might be riding his reputation a little too hard. Put a gag on him in the media and make him back it up on the ice.
Klingberg I hated from the beginning. I would take Martin Marincin in a second over this guy.

fun fact: all of our non core 4 forwards have a combined goal total of 4 goals in 11 games played. 2 of those are from Knies.
So Bertuzzi, Domi, Kampf, Jarnkrok, Holmberg, Reaves, and Gregor altogether are on pace for a combined 15 goals for the entire season 💀

Honestly. I was a fan of every signing except Klingberg. They’ve been beyond terrible though. I’m really disappointed in Domi, he’s always wanted to be a Leaf and he’s invisible most of the time.
