At first I was going to blame Soderblom, then I was going to blame Toffoli, but it looks like the refs made an intelligent call here. Toffoli cuts him off, he tries to go around and uses his free hand to do so, tripping himself up in the process. Should Sodorblom have stated put? Probably, but a moot point.
How is Murphy getting a penalty here? its just a battle after the puck, no one did anything crazy, Toffoli lost his edge trying to circle around. this should be a non situation just continue the game
Ok, seriously… someone needs to octopus slap the refs this year. There are three possible penalties here, and ALL of them on Toffoli. Holding, for grabbing and pulling on Murphys arm. Goalie Interference, for taking Soderblom out and not allowing him to return to the crease after playing the puck. And lastly Embellishment for his pathetic "OMG, woe is me!" act.
Players are now expected to be able disappear and vanish from the play. That's the only thing Murphy could have done here. Ref's a bunch of weak woke feminists

If Soderblom isn't there, I don't think they call the interference because it is light.

Even if he wasn't bumped, he was going to run into the goalie.
