  1. Sooo Mcavoy hit to the head – 4 games.
Attempted breaking of the neck to a vulnerable player on the ice- 1 game (2023/2024) Andrew Mang
Attempted neck breaking similar to above- 2 games (2022/2023) Jamie (has)Benn
Alleged sports betting bs with no solid proof of sports betting but still breaking contract. No bets made by you but a friend, also which was NOT hockey related – 41 games or 50% of the season. (23/24) Shane Pinto.

Good to know though. Good thing they have hockey players promoting sports betting in betting commercials and ads. Good thing there are sports betting ads on helmets and such.
Lmao… NHL league standards are literally all over the friggin place and only getting worse. Just reach into the hat blindfolded and see what you get.
Absolute zero consistency throughout games throughout all the refs in the league. Have a talk with your refs and start getting them to all call the same things. What ref A calls a penalty the next 3 do not. Multiply that across anywhere from 1 games to 16 games a day it becomes a clusterf**k…

  2. I definitely agree with you! Then there was the play where a guy elbowed another player in the head injuring him and his teammates hopped in to defend then and they received a penalty for initiating the fight. The NHL is so inconsistent with their rule enforcement it’s insane!

  3. Just disgusting behavior by mangiapane, poor McCann has just been getting blasted. First in the post season and now against the flames. I was hoping for three games, guess I can’t be shocked at the one though. Just another game of spin the wheel for DOPS I guess.

Credit to most flames fans though for nearly universally saying he deserved more than one or two games and was a complete moron for choosing to cross check someone’s neck.

  4. Absolutely disgraceful. Should have been at least 3/4 games. Benn did the same thing to Stone in the playoffs- down on the ice and stick to the neck. It was absolutely intentional and disgusting

  5. Oh it's a joke all right. Seriously, they throw darts to determine these suspensions. Players have no idea what to do and what not to do any more.

  6. I remember finding you when you started and to see you now have 3 channels and essentially your own tiny sports network is amazing.

  7. Any sort of purely "cheap shot/not in the flow of the game" act should be a heavy suspension. That also goes for any "dives"–particularly in soccer.

  8. To be honest, that should be jail time, not just an NHL suspension. Makes no sense you get to commit violence that can paralyze someone and just walk it off scot free cause you did it in the rink.

  9. In a world where sportsmanship and player safety were prioritized, this would be a bigger suspension than the Pinto gambling situation.
Mangiapane could’ve paralyzed him or broke his neck with that intentional move and he gets a one game suspension. Unreal.

  10. This is not even a hockey play, or a split-second decision kinda thing. It's a deliberate gesture and definitely something hockey never needs. One game is ridiculous.

  11. I honestly think that should have been a double-digit suspension. It's dirty AND stupid. The game can't have this.

  12. Compare to McAvoy (who deserved all 4 games), but at least was trying to make a hockey play. Ridiculous

  13. He didn't gamble and be part of the Ottawa Senators so he'll get a slap on the wrist. And I'm not even a Sens fan!

  14. I was in person.. crowd was as loud as they are when they get a goal when he got kicked out.. even an entire crowd believes he did something horrible
