I had faith in this guy but no more, theres a problem among the players, someone that can in isn't a fit, because it's pretty much the same team as last year and to come out and play like this just blows my mind! I got to a point I'm not even watching anymore.
Yea skinner could of made some key saves but our team could of helped keep shooters from getting the puck in prime scoring locations. Vancouver kept us on the outside the whole game. Demko just needed to be in position, he didnt make miraculous saves. We need to be better as a team. This is not on one guy
I think an issue with Skinner is that he just doesn’t have the skills to keep this team afloat yet. He’s played 71 games in his entire career. That doesn’t really inspire hope. I think that Stuart Skinner would be good right now as a backup. But the problem with that is that Edmonton doesn’t have a starting goalie who would be any good. Jack Campbell isn’t that guy either. He just isn’t ready for the pressures of starting goaltender yet. Maybe sometime in the future he could be that starting goaltender, but just not now. If Edmonton got a better, more experienced, most consistent goaltender, not only would that solve a few a issues, but that goaltender could actually show Stuart Skinner the ropes a little, and help his play as well.
And also, if we’re gonna rag on the Goalies, we can’t let the Defense feel left out. The defense is god awful on this team because no one wants to play defense. All of these Defense are trying to play like Erik Karlsson, and it isn’t working.
Whoa whoa whoa! Did he just assume everyone on the oilers has a bag? Might wanna double check that stewie boy this team has one sac and it hangs from evander kane.
He was put into a role that he was not ready for… They should traded for an NHL Calibre goalie this past summer to mentor, guide him and NOT RUSH him.
Now the team is left with 2 goalies with 0 confidence and are mentally shattered.
Oh we have to give Campbell time.. He is paid 5 million as a professional. Clearly he ain’t going to figure it out. There is no figuring out. He ain’t at the NHL level
Oh the cap, the cap.. That’s on you GM. You should have figured that out before you signed players that contribute 000000 game in and game out.

Not that I know anything about being a goalie … But seems like positioning issues for Skinner. First goal was not his fault though obviously

Time for the minors, always gives up 4 can’t keep doing that he stinks
I say just miss the playoffs this year… they’re will be no expectations or pressure on the players! This season is toast anyways
