I’m not a fan of Elvis….don’t get me wrong.
But you get out-shot 19-1 in 10 mins then blame the goalie….dude that wasn’t all his fault.

First one was an overcommitment, he shouldn’t have been that far out of the net.
Second one he was screened by his own guys.
Third one he was spun around by his own guy.
Plus getting outshot 15-1 in the first 10 mins of the game.
The people coming for Elvis are just using him as a scapegoat, in my opinion.

Well Martin held the fort and we got two back, so yanking him was probably the right move regardless of how one feels about the guy and his play.

The first goal was not his fault. Yes he was out of the net being aggressive because he had to be. The 2 on 1 was the first issue. Then the 3 skaters standing in the crease while the puck was behind the goal line was the issue. Elvis was in full recovery after trying to make the play on the 2 on 1. Please go watch the play not just the box score.
