Didn’t have the energy to stay up for this one, and waking up to that final score was a bummer lol. I suppose the silver lining is that this team has to confront their deficiencies right now instead of out scoring them with Jack and Nico out of the lineup, and I’d rather they be sorting these issues out in November than in March when you need to be hitting your stride down the stretch for playoffs.
Once again I encourage the mindset of accepting that while this team has arrived with legitimate aspirations of a Stanley Cup, they also got here ahead of schedule and still got some learning to do, and that’s okay!
Looks like we made it a game on the road against an elite team without our two best players. Loss in Colorado would be acceptable and unsurprising even with Jack and Nico.
Can’t win every game. Just gotta hang around. Very winnable game Friday.
We’re one+ years in the Palat contract, and he has done exactly one good thing. There is a bizarre defense of him with some even just full-blown lying to defend the contract.
