I've noticed Garland doing good things even if points aren't there. I've noticed AB in a bad way. Need more defensive grit on the bottom lines. If the Flames decide to tank, I would trade AB amd a 2nd rounder for Tanev in a heartbeat
I think studnicka gets sent down and they insert blueger in. Seems like Alvin will take his time looking and moving Garland or Beaviler. He wants grab another right defense but his hand isn't forced right now.

Garland/ Aman & Johansson to CBJ for Boqvist and Kent Johnson
Tanev is horrible, just as bad defensively as Myers has been. Garland is great and always a thorn when he was in Arizona
As for Garland you should be here in the good times and the bad. So trade him. If you only wants to be here when we're winning then he's not worth it. Trade beauvilier as well. We don't need any fair weather friends.

Having a guy like Garland on the 3rd line is what we need if we want to be a playoff team. I've always liked Garland and how fiesty he is on the puck. Hes shifty and is a grinder, he can also snipe and show skill when he wants. There is no use for Beauvillier in the lineup. He does not possess the same qualities you need from 3rd/4rth line guys in terms of defensive plays, backchecking, hard on the puck, ect. And he doesnt display top 6 qualities either (theres also no room for him up there). Hopefully Patrick Alvine can market Beauviller as a potential top 6 foward for teams with less depth. We saw last year when he got top 6 minutes with Horvat, he was producing and showed he can be a top 6 foward in that sceneario.
