  1. I mean, up 6-0 on the defenseless Sharks…really no reason to celebrate anyway. But good on him to check, that's something at least

  2. Not even close to being a real injury, the real injury is the score and the brush of the hip was just the right amount of reason the exit quickly.

  3. Can’t really blame Kuzmenko for hitting the goalie on this one. The goalie went into his path and he couldnt quite avoid him. On a lighter note, the sharks have become very adept at getting out of the frame of the inevitable goal highlight clip as fast as possible. All those players immediately peeled off from the net and vanished from view so fast, there was no one left to check on the goalie.

  4. The Sharks should trade for 'Jeff Petry Mouse.' He would fit in well with the culture there.

  5. I think Kuzmenko thought he may have caught him in the neck with his skate if you pause at 0:45 you can see how close they get, and he's turned around so he has no clue what happened. that's just my guess, it feels like players are still shaken up about the Adam Johnson incident, wouldn't blame them at all if they were

  6. I've noticed a few situations this year where players seems to be a bit more courteous to one another like Kuzmenko was here.

In the Flames vs Kraken game on Nov 4th Kadri drives the net, loses his balance and his skates come up. Instead of going to celebrate his team scoring on the play he turns to the Kraken player to ensure he didn't catch him with his skate. This was of course shortly following the awful situation with Adam Johnson, so it makes sense players are being more mindful.

  7. As a Sharks fan I have huge respect for the Canucks team for checking on him instead of celebrating their goal!
