  1. In the 90's after all the losses, Smith would be sent to the minors. I'm supprised he's still in the NHL.

  2. This is what i like seeing instead of all these horrible calls and reckless behavior. When the refs are circling, and the fights have rules, that's honor.

  3. As a wings fan, Smith finally did what he gets paid to do. Yeah, he lost… bad… but Deslauriers got taken into the fray and out of the game in a way that didn't allow the flyers any momentum when they needed it. The flyers have been the surprises this season. Talentless team that's survived from being bottom stricken by the brute of guys like deslauriers. Smith stepped up and removed delaueiers brute from being a factor, allowing the sharks to finally get rid of the gooseegg in the wins column. Kind of a shame too, cuz this sharks vs oilers game was going to be dramatic on Thursday, but sharks have broken out of the dull drums, and let's be honest, the oilers stand no chance as the NHLs future bottom feeders

  4. Deslaurier a tough guy with no true fighters in the league, except maybe Reaves. John Scott had him shitting his pants but wouldn't fight him.

  5. For the people hating on Smith, there are maybe 4-5 legit fighters in the heavy weight category, Deslauries is one of them. I think the fact he knew how big the game was for his team, jumped into the pile and faced it is the kind of shit that leads your team into the battle. He doesn't have to win the fight, that isn't the point in that moment.

  6. Deslauriers is now tied at the top of the standings (with Xhekaj, Kastelic, Englund) with 3 major penalties.

20 years ago this far into the season, the leader had 8 (Andrew Peters), and 30 years ago the leader had 6 (Tie Domi).

  7. Наконец-то этот чёрный бездельник отважился на драку.. Но и тут проиграл👎
