montreal canadiens as a franchise has huge issues, and it has been like this for 15 years already
horrible picking at drafts, this is literally killing the club, the latest disaster is slafkovsky that really is a bust as many have been pointing out for more than a year already
who would ever pick slafkovsky over cooley or even over wright ? the reason for why slafkovsky is not playing at laval is, the managment is scared to do this since this would show up how incompetent they actually are so they will keep slafkovsky artificially on the first team until montreal is sold to somewhere else
horrible picking of head coaches, marty louis is the latest example, montreal doesnt know how to build up their coaching team, they always choose worst coaches
mismanagment of young players, the canadiens is a black hole for any talented prospect

Slaf is a bust
I wonder if coach Miracle Marty regrets that joke he made when Savard had an absurdly long shift and Marty said, "well he doesn't move much" or something along those lines. Now look at what happens to the team with stationary, smiling Savard out of comission.
Its almost like in a 82 game season teams go on losing streaks and winning streaks plus everyone now hates allen now. No wonder plsyers dont wanna play here
