First, get rid of Nurse and the goalie coach. Nurse causes too many goals scored on Edmonton. Pay him 10.00 per hr. instead of 9.25 M per yr. to be a terrible defenseman. He thinks he's a goalie by lying down on the ice too much. Every Oiler should be using slapshots every game to try scoring. McDavid and Draisatl have to shoot on the net more, don't pass to some guy who can't hit the side of a barn. Woody use your old method of defense from last year or bench some players who don't even try out there. Tied for 32nd place, just pathetic.

In a real division they're barely a wildcard team before the season starts. If Line 1 doesn't show up, game over. Contender my ass, they're exactly where they're supposed to be. The really brutal part of it all is myself and many others saw this disaster coming before preseason even started, so how can NHL coaches not??? Not to mention doing this with a team that has Connor McDavid. What a clown.

I don’t think Jay has lost the room, and I still think he’s a excellent coach, but you have to let him and holland go and try and spark this team somehow cause this is some of the least inspiring hockey this team has played including the decade of darkness

The team had great 1sts and 2nds and they didn't get players from those picks. This is why the team is sh!@. You have to hit with those picks. The team might have the worst scouting in the league. They can only hit with no brainer picks like Mcdavid. Other than that they didn't add anyone significant since… is there anyone on the team that they drafted since Mcdavid. Holloway, Broberg, Bouchard and…Skinner with a 3rd. It's been 8 years since the Oilers lucked out at the 2015 lottery and it's been sh!@ since. I don't know the stats, but they probably are the worst team at drafting since 2015. For how high some of those picks were and what they got. They fu!@ed up a possible dynasty by not adding some players to help out Connor and Leon.

They're fast but not snappy. Teams know the structure and style.
The box defense either gets opened up or smashed through. Oilers arent able to do either right now.
