  1. You guys don't seem too understand much about trades… the habs are not making the playoffs anytime soon so the move would be Monahan Primeau, Jake ASAP for 3 1rst rounders and more… but most teams that will make the playoffs won't deal after 15 games… you have 0 sources , just 2 guys starting rumours… ridiculous

  2. We totally deserved to win the game tonight. Crossbars, posts, a disallowed PP goal on an irrelevant offside that happened almost a full minute before the goal, and a Wings goal that clearly went in off a glove. Should have been 3-1 in regulation! But good that Caufield sealed it in OT!!! 🥳

  3. Harris impressed me yet again tonight! In fact our entire D played very well. I only wish they could get their point shots through to the net! It was insane how many high quality shots the Wings blocked in front tonight…and not only shots from our D.

  4. Hard NO! On Beauvillier. He hasn't shown anything in NYI or Canucks! No to this réclamation project

  5. I think Cole Caufield isn’t as hungry to score goals as he was last season and that’s not a bad thing… I have noticed he’s really trying to improve on his playmaking and he’s doing very well at that, he’s still shooting and of course he wants to score but he’s thinking about playmaking and last year it was just score goals… if Montreal can get another shooter close to Cole they will be crazy good especially on the power play if Cole improves on his playmaking with another shooter on the PP Caufield could be a 90-95 point player 45 goals 45-50 assists… Love this kid!

  6. If Edmonton is willing to give a Unprotected First round pick for taking Campbell, I would be happy with that trade, Imagine Montreal gets a top 10 pick from Edmonton and Lane Hutson from the oilers 😂

  7. Beauvillier wouldn't make sense, if there's one thing this team scarcely need is yet another lefty forward. "Yeah but he's more of a Center, skates super fast, can pass, score…" Well sure, thanks for describing a Alex Newhook. Garland was a different case as he'd fit the profile of the missing winger who actually plays better on the right side that could maybe complete that top line while Slaf takes all the time he needs in his development.
Also, the one thing that plays to Kent Hughes and the Habs advantage in those negociations is Time, such a valuable leverage.
There's absolutely no rush on the Habs side while teams like the Oilers, the Canes or even the Canucks as they want to capitalize on their super start of the season are all much more anxious to feel some sense of security through a trade with regards to the remaining of the season.

  8. anderson is a power forward got a slow start rare type of player gonna be fine soon

  9. So i notice that the Habs PP looks a lot better than it did earlier this season. They've started using other players to shoot. Its not as predictable.

The only thing left to do is to activate Caufield again. Everytime Caufield gets the puck he needs to handle the puck and then shoot. Now i dont know if the issue is Caufield not being in the right spot, or passers needing to be better. You almost never see a one-timer from Cole and its so frustrating.

  10. If we can play with consistency like we did against Vegas & Detroit last night, we can certainly be in a good position to be a buyer come March 2024 should we be in a position to aim for a playoff spot. Many teams are still close to the middle of the pack so every game is going to be important to try a get a point or two moving forward.
Primeau changes the landscape with his game last night. He was really focused! I thought it was Carey Price in there! Our backend needs help but Savard is a few weeks away from his return so we will work with what we have for the moment. Trust the plan!

  11. Stop putting Cole Cawlfedupthepuck on a pedestal like this when he doesn't deserve it. He did way more bad then he did good last night. Lets face it… he is a 10 foot player. Anything beyond that, he looses it. This game belongs to Suzuki, not to a guy who shows up at the last second of overtime. I can go on and explain in detail why I see it this way but what's the point. Don't get me wrong, I have lived in Montreal my whole life and have been a huge fan since 1972 and have seen some insane teams in that time, but Cole needs to step it up like Monahan does. These was one point of the game where I was watching and said to myself, Cole may get sent down again if he keeps playing like this, and then you guys come up with a glorifying video like this? C'mon guys!!!!

  12. Steve Yzerman did very well in putting the great Tampa Bay team together…but somehow, he is not having the same success in his rebuild in Detroit. In the last couple of years, he has signed a few free agents and made trades to get his team to start winning more regularly. His core players of the futur might be good, but not great like he had in Tampa !!!

  13. Hi guys. I feel like folks are ragging a bit on Anderson because he is not scoring. However, his presence adds so much to the lineup. He forechecks well, intimidates the defence when he is for checking and not afraid to drop the gloves. We are not a huge team and feel like getting rid of a 6’3” power forward would be a mistake. Plus, as we say when the Habs went to the finals, he can break out anytime. Cheers

  14. Cole is too good to be given even the tiniest of spaces to take his shot. He is a game breaker in OT.
