i always thought oilers were overrated and that’s coming from my mid tier Blues as good as conner and leon are teams are too deep and skilled these days to only have two good players and your team not eventually fold

This has to come down to coaching staff they have the players on paper but can't seem to get the ball rolling… Drisydle n McDaid should be enough but obviously Woodcroft method doesn't work this year, strip it right back and rebuild symple game structures to get back into the game, I mean as a flame plz don't fix it just bring on the battles of Alberta full send Kane n zadorov wer lookn at you hahah

I was looking for that game just for the sheer drama it would produce if the Oilers were to lose to the Sharks. I am not disappointed. 😅 At this point in his career, is it fair to say that McDavid is not a great leader ? He and Draisatl have been considered the best forwards by a lot of people in the last years yet they have nothing to show for it apart from individual awards. They never even came close to winning a cup. They can blame their defense and goalie all they want but defense is a collective thing. I remember Crosby leading a very average no-name defense to a Stanley Cup in 2017. The Oilers have no business scraping the bottom of the league with the Sharks. They have the potential to turn this around but they better wake up fast if they wanna save this season. They need to approach every game like it's a game 7 from now on, no excuses.
Imagine having to answer these questions less than 20 games into the season? No wonder they look depressed having to deal with these media tards.

Playing hockey in Canada is tough due to the pressure. Ottawa probably is the least pressure given their fan base isn't that large.
Replay the season so far but instead give the Oilers .900 sv% goaltending on the dot and no one is talking about them at all. When your team holds the other to 18 shots and your goalie lets three past him, its his fault, it almost doesn't matter how they're scored, you HAVE to find a way to stop enough to win the game. Thats the job.
If Edmonton was your pick for the Stanley Cup, you haven’t watched their playoff performance the last few years. It just ain’t happening
Starts with the captain if he’s not scoring he looks disinterested and he definitely doesn’t play a 200 ft game and lacks emotion.

THEY NEED 1 GOALIE 2 DEFENCE MAN AND 2 FORWARDS 1 A GOOD PENALTY KILLER AND 2 A POWER NET FORWARD .
Follow the money. I won't put another dime into the NHL until a canadian team wins the cup. Looks like that will never happen.
